Employment Relations in the community
We are a specialist employment law and HR management advice firm
Formed in 2001, we act for employees and employers and handle exclusively employment law. This, together with our HR management expertise, means we can offer a complete service to employers and employees. Our practice is drawn mainly from London and the South East, with some clients coming from further afield. Most clients are acquired through personal recommendation.
We have developed a significant niche advising solicitors and support staff in many of the magic circle firms.
We are based in
Elham
, a small Kent village near Canterbury, but only 40 minutes from London on the high-speed rail service from Ashford. Our lower-cost location enables us to offer competitively-priced services to individuals and companies. Most of our staff live within walking or cycling distance of the office and enjoy a good work/life balance while contributing to our low carbon footprint. We maintain an office in London.
The firm holds a monthly
breakfast forum
for employers in the area. The events which take place at the Rose & Crown in Elham enable employers to share their employment headaches, discuss specialist HR and employment law issues with specialist speakers as well as enjoying a fine breakfast.
Over the last ten years we have taken advantage of our close proximity to the city of Canterbury we have built close relationships with the
University of Kent
and
Canterbury Christchurch’s
career services. We offer their law faculties’ graduates and undergraduates intensive and practical work based training schemes enabling them to operate effectively in today’s commercial environment.
