Tribunal Claims

Very often it is not necessary for an employee to take a case to the Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal, discrimination or whatever. We are often able to negotiate a satisfactory compromise on behalf of the employee avoiding the need to present a Tribunal claim and the resultant expense and uncertainty. However, under almost all circumstances, tribunal claims need to be presented within three months from the effective date of termination and an employee should not wait for too long before seeking legal advice if he believes it worth while to bring a claim.
