Employment Relations Solicitors is a small highly specialised law firm providing advice on all aspects of employment law and HR management to its clients, both commercial and private. We also publish employment law advice on our website, and a monthly employment law update. In July 2008 we moved to new purpose-built offices in the centre of the medieval village of Elham and are now expanding. We see London-based clients by arrangement at Anchor Brewhouse in London’s Butler’s Warf. It is essential for prospective employees to have their own transport.
Solicitor
We are looking for an associate solicitor with not less than three years’ post qualification experience to work in this busy office. There is a good mix of contentious and non-contentious work and we act for both employers and employees. Applicants should be comfortable working with limited supervision as well as relishing opportunities for tribunal advocacy. Although based in a small village, because of modern communications our client base is drawn from the whole of the South East of England.
Please apply in the first instance with a CV to pennyhays@employment-relations.co.uk.
Partner
We are looking for an individual to join the practice at partner level. The work here is high quality and a mixture of contentious and non-contentious. However, we would expect the person filling this post to have a minimum of five years’ post qualification experience and have been a senior associate or partner in a commercial practice, possibly in London, but looking for a lifestyle change.
The firm occupies new technologically-advanced offices within a rural setting. Being in the countryside but close to the sea there are many leisure activities available in the immediate locality, including cycling, walking, sailing and gyms. The office is equipped with shower and changing facilities for anyone wanting to cycle or even run to work.
Please apply in the first instance with a CV to pennyhays@employment-relations.co.uk.
